2005									Six very hot weeks from mid June to the end of July raised hopes for a great vintage, but August was relatively poor, and rain at the start of October caused dilution; results are variable but most wines will be pleasant for drinking relatively soon.
2004						***			Temperatures were normal,but rain and humidity caused problems. There was rain in August, a revival before the harvest, but then more rain during the harvest. There were some problems with humidity, with consequent risk of rot.
2003						***		65	Exceptional heat and drought conditions allowed Pinot Noir to achieve ripeness and quality, but the whites tend to lack acidity, even though acidification was allowed.
2002	89A		90-94 drink/hold			**		89	Difficult harvest conditions due to rain and rot. Acidity, especially malic acid, is high due to lack of sunshine during September. Rieslings have good acidity for medium-term drinking. Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, and Muscat are irregular and there were problems with rot. Few high quality VT or SGN.
2001	90A	91R	93 drink/hold			*()	18	90	Indian summer with good conditions for botrytis gave good VT and SGN wines. Dry wines are generally more elegant than in 2001 and just a little richer.
