200092A16An abundant year in which it could be difficult to make the necessary selection of grapes. The Mosel succeeded better than Saar or Ruwer. There was good development of botrytis, leading to the production of TBA.
199991A18An abundant vintage of mature grapes, but diluted by persisent rains. Successful in the Saar and good Kabinetts and Spatlese in the Mosel. The wines can be rich and fruity.
199890B17Quite full and classy, with a good acid balance, they will mature more slowly than the 1999 vintage. The very early vintage favored the production of Eiswein.
199790B18A small harvest gave concentrated wines, especiially showing finesse in the Saar.
199690B17A difficult vintage required stringent selection of grapes. Acidity is higher than usual and the wines do not have the usual aromatic purity. There were some successed by the best producers.
